Happy 1st birthday, RightsBase
This week marks the first anniversary of this web site. In its first year RightsBase has published nearly one hundred articles covering a diverse range of human rights issues in 82 countries. It is host to independent human rights reporting, some of which is unavailable anywhere else on the web (such as the most recent post on Tonga).
Thank you, dear readers and interlocutors, all around the world. (And a pox on all you spammers.) Most of all, thank you to my Lovely Assistant, without whom RightsBase would not exist. He had the vision for this web site and his technical assistance permits its progressive realisation.
